We will Remember them
But how can we remember them, they are just names on a plaque?
As I looked at the names, I wondered how many people have stood here and how many will stand here after me, and think, who were these men, where had they, lived and worked?
As the centenary of the, The Great War. (WW1.) approached, I decided to research these men, so that they can be remembered for more than just their names.
The following pages show my findings. I had assumed that everyone would be a farm worker and had all joined the Norfolk Regiment. How wrong I was!
The information provided is accurate as far as I can ascertain
