And to conclude in Richards own words....

 

Written after his visit to Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre where he had a taxy ride in the Lancaster NX611 "Just Jane" which we had bought him for his 60th birthday

 

 

 

And these were his words used on his tribute for the pilot and crew who perished in the Wellington BK440 which crashed in his home village of Hindolveston in 1943

 

 

They gave, what they gave.      

So that you could have, what you have.

 

Thanks for taking time to look at this display and remembering all our fallen without whom, we would not be able to enjoy the freedom we have today.
