Daughter of George Ritchie Thompson and Isabella Mary Thompson of Holt.

 

H.M.S. Minos was a Shore establishment that dealt with harbour defence.

 

She was believed to in Wallers restaurant at the time of the raid.

 

Interesting that her father and mother were Irish, her Father was born in Belfast in 1877 and by 1900 was a School Master at Corpell college Belfast, and married Isabella (b 1878 Rathmines Dublin) in Harrow England.

 

They must have then moved to Holt, he possible took a post at Greshams School.

 

He died 7th June 1945.
